Research Advancement Admin Sr

The Office of the University Provost seeks an experienced Research Advancement Administrator, Senior (RAAS) to join the Business Services Team. This position is primarily dedicated to post-award management but may include some pre-award functions. The successful candidate will be an active team member of the Provost Office Business Services Team. The RAAS will provide sponsored accounts management services to Research Faculty, Vice Provost, and Presidents in the Office of the Provost. The RAAS will operate with a high degree of autonomy as they monitor current processes and create, restructure, refine, and continue to organize to build great customer service experience for our executive Principle Investigators. This includes, but not limited to the following: approving procurement; payroll; grant modifications; reporting; managing and tracking all deadlines and funding end dates.

Full-TimeASU conducts pre-employment screening for all positions which includes a criminal background check, verification of work history, academic credentials, licenses, and certifications. Employment is contingent upon successful passing of the background check.OpenWorking activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse.Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work.Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs.Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functionsRegular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology/peripherals.This position receives regular review of objectives by department administrator.
 

Bachelor's degree in a related field. Five years of experience in a field appropriate to the area/unit of assignment OR Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been achieved.
