Research Analyst – ESG Fundamental Data - Operations Team will focus on initiatives related to the collection of company reported ESG data. The Analyst should have a strong business acumen and the ability to leverage a wide array of data and research analysis techniques to develop innovative recommendations. The ideal candidate is passionate about different secondary and primary research approaches, interpreting data, providing thought leadership/insights, and making recommendations in line with business goals. Research Analyst will be responsible and accountable for contributing to the growth of FactSet’s ESG solutions knowledge library product and for ensuring consistently high-quality research.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect, analyze and process company reported data from various data sources and into the database utilized by the ESG content team. ESG data processing, research, and analysis in line with ESG content team methodology.Fix the audit resolutions and recommendations coming from QC\Specialists based on specific guidelines.Tracking and monitoring developments and trends in various sectors of specialization and assessing the ESG impact of those companies on the overall sector.Update internal documents for performance metrics monitoring. Escalate data interpretation issues, as needed. Troubleshoot problems or issues and provide support to the teamFocus and ensure that the integrity of the company's ESG data information is intact.Provide timely, accurate and reliable demographic and statistical ESG reported.Fulfill the research/analytical/ market study needs as and when required/ requested by the Internal/external stakeholders in order to procure and retain future/current business.The job also involves reporting and maintaining records of work done on a timely basis.Share Ideas and Best Practices from a Process Improvement perspective.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Graduate in commerce /Environmental science/ Corporate Governance/ Business Management / Finance / Accounting / Economics or equivalent.Computer Literacy to effectively use the database and software for collection and processing of content/dataGood communications skills - written & verbalNumerical skills to ensure understanding of the financial data to be collected and/or processedAnalytical skills and detail orientation to ensure accuracy of dataGood Knowledge of financial markets and accountancy (as needed) To ensure effective understanding of assigned content/market
