Your Team's Impact
Corporate Actions - MNL is responsible for collecting dividends per share into FF universe and slotting them into specific fiscal periods. We’re also responsible for reviewing splits in our database.
As a Research Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and updating relevant fields in the database with accurate information in accordance with the defined work process. You will be analyzing these content sets by reviewing official updates from our trusted sources that can be in the form of feeds, corporate action mails, press releases, and other reports; thereby making it available to FactSet clients in real-time and in top quality. You will report to the Team Lead and assist in meeting the team’s business goals by meeting your individual targets. You are expected to work onsite three times a week.
What You'll Do
Responsible for doing the daily activities of the team, to include: Daily Ingest, QA Checks from Genesys, Internal RPDsCollects dividends per share and slot them according to their fiscal periods.Reviews splits added on the Fundamentals database.Answers dividend and split related queries.Analyst will click on New Dividend queue and will be assigned a record from the queue (by priority). Slot the dividendDetails will be reviewed like the dates, values, and compare it to the data exposed by the Corporate Actions Team in product.Scheduled feed of dividend records we need to collect, update, or delete. Records are ingested in the collection toolManually update the dividend dates and values.Cancelled/Postponed Dividends – Review StreetAccount alerts for any possible dividend cancellationChecking data in product – through SQL query, FQL codes or directly in Workstation.Attendance to skills’ enhancement coursesWhat We're Looking For
Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Business Management / Finance / Accounting /Economics and equivalent coursesInterest in Global Stock Exchanges, Investing and Equity Trading.Outstanding time management, prioritization, and independence as well as keen attention to detail.Comfortable in dealing and analyzing large datasetsFlexible, willing to learn technical terminologies/processesExcellent communication/comprehension skills both verbal and writtenAn ability to work under pressure to real time data issuesComputer literate: Preferably proficient in working with MS ExcelWilling to be assigned in any shift.Desired Skills
