The Research Analyst conducts and contributes to research projects that generate actionable insights to inform the Foundation’s strategic and business decisions and enhance its thought leadership. Utilizes appropriate research methodologies to collect data, conduct analyses, and interpret results. Synthesizes findings and creates engaging content for target audiences. Responsibilities Conducts analyses of internal and external datasets for various initiatives to answer research questions and advance the work of the organization. Supports development of tools and processes for quantitative and qualitative research. Describes and explains data analyses to non-technical audiences in clear verbal, written, and visual forms. Executes tasks associated with visualization of research data and findings. Supports communication and research-sharing led and supported by the organization with internal and external audiences. Creates and maintains an accessible, user-friendly compendium of essential research and data related to the organization’s target population and strategic objectives. Supports integration of research results and findings into program development, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with and provides responsive and timely advice, guidance, and consultation to the organization’s staff related to research methods, methodology, data, and results/findings. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research Strong analytical skills with proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods Familiarity with statistical software e.g., SPSS, R, Python Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete tasks on-time Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Bachelor’s degree in economics, public policy, public health, business, data science, or a related field in social sciences Preferred: Master’s degree or higher. Remote work can only be done within the United States and its territories.
