Research Analyst
Job location: Bethesda, MD
TS/SCI Clearance preferred.
The Technical SETA shall have subject matter expertise in quantitative social science, computer science, data science, or related disciplines.
Required Expertise
The following are required qualifications for the technical SETA:
a. A master’s or doctorate degree in quantitative social science, computer science, data science, or related technical discipline.
b. Three (3) years of experience conducting and/or managing research on sociotechnical systems.
c. Experience in at least three of the following areas: foreign malign influence assessments; information operations; target audience analysis; digital marketing and advertising; public opinion research; risk assessment methodologies; causal inference in social science; computational methods to study behaviors, beliefs, perceptions, and attitudes; and online trust and safety.
d. One (1) year of experience supporting the management of a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team.
Desired Expertise
a. One (1) year of experience with causal inference methods in social science research.
b. One (1) year of experience creating program plans, work breakdown structures, and milestone schedules.
c. One (1) year of experience in the Department of Defense (DOD) or Intelligence Community (IC), including experience with requirements, CONOPS, and transition.
Salary Description $180k-$200k
