Main Responsibilities

Concept development and investigation of prototypes, products and manufacturing processesDevelop suitable test methods for various prototypes and materialsUndertake small-scale and full-scale tests (indoor and outdoor) on materials and products including sample preparations, test setup, perform tests and samples disposalDocument and preliminary analysis of the obtained resultsConduct procedures safely and ensure all equipment is kept in good condition for testingHandling and working with chemicals in line with the company procedures and relevant standardsAssisting with preparation, review and update of Standard Operation Procedures for testingGeneral laboratory housekeeping

About You

To be successful in this role you need:

Ability to read and interpret test standards and methodologiesHands on experience when it comes to modifying and fabricating simple test fixturesHigh attention to detail with a practical mindsetStrong time management skillsFriendly and positive attitude and ability to work as part of a teamExperience using a variety of software packages, including laboratory test softwareCommitment to safe work practices

Essential Requirements

Understand polymers and FRP products (preferable)Must have a C Class Drivers LicenceForklift licence – or willing / capable to obtain
