The Research and Development Officer I conducts a thorough study to develop or to improve a product and determine product specifications, production costs and a production time line.
Job Duties
Excellent in Cooking, Baking and Pastry Making.
Establish standards and specification of raw materials.Accredit suppliers of raw materials/ingredients.Establish the procedure in making the product.Simplify/Improve existing process.Determine and establish storage, handling requirements and shelf life.Conduct sensory evaluation.
Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, HRM, or Equivalent.With at least 1 year experience in the field of Food Research and Development.Knowledgeable in Cooking and Baking is an advantage.Must be result oriented. With good analytical skills.Must be result oriented.
