We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated R&D Tech to join our CDx Research and Development Department. You will provide research support to develop accurate, robust, and precise assays. You will work in a cross-functional team dedicated to the design and development of CDx assays in a highly regulated environment and perform the following activities:

Responsibilities include:

Working in a cross-functional team that supports clinical trials testing new targeted anti-cancer drugs, by contributing to the development of tailored companion diagnostic assays.Providing technical support to develop immunohistochemistry (IHC) assays, in situ hybridization (ISH) assays, and possibly molecular biology-based assays.Planning and executing analytical studies as described in existing documents.Participating in evaluating and reporting experimental resultsContributing to generation of general protocols, reports and publications.Participating as a key contributor in project teamsFacilitating transfer of completed development projects into commercial products.Understanding and implementing our quality management system framework. Quality is our passion.Solving technical design problems.Ensuring success through collaboration with your team.With training and coaching, increase understanding of histology and pathology, especially with regard to Oncology and relevant biomarkers

BS/BA in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field or equivalent education and experience1-2+ years of related laboratory experience, within an academic or industry labAbility to follow Quality System regulations including Design ControlDemonstration of excellent verbal and written communicationAnalytical, creative and works well in a team environmentProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteGood problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented and good organizational skillsAbility to work diligently with speed and focus

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of related laboratory experience, within an academic or industry labBackground in biology techniques including immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, fluorescent techniques, protein biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, and microscopy.Background in one or more of the following: tumor biology, immunology, and histology

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $27.90 - $43.60/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
