Working under the supervision of Dr. Tracie Barnett (fund holder) and Dr. Paula Bush, the Research Assistant will participate in research activities associated with the projects of the Data Valorization Axis of the Unité de soutien SSA Québec funded for the 2024-2026 period. Specifically, primary research activities (e.g., Delphi, interviews, recruitment) and secondary research activities (e.g., environmental scan, review of grey literature). This position is for 5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Assist with liaising with the health librarian and project team to develop the search strategy
Assist with the identification and selection of publications, data extraction and data synthesis
Assist with qualitative interviews (recruitment, preparation of interview guides, interviewing, data analysis)
Assist with conducting a Delphi study (recruitment, administration of questionnaire, data analysis)
Assist with writing reports to summarize data and the implications of the results
Assist with writing manuscripts
Assist with communications with broader research team.
Respond to emails relating to the project.
Attend project meetings.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Research Assistant or similar role.
Excellent administrative skills.
Knowledge of research methods, in particular literature review methods.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent time management skills.
A degree in the field related to the study is preferred.
