Position Summary:
Work closely with research groups to ensure the success of their CT experiment design
Operate the CT-scanner
Perform basic maintenance and quality assurance testing of the CT scanner
Perform CT-scanner troubleshooting
Analyze CT-scanner images and data as requested by users and external clients.
Contribute to the organization of short courses and workshops on CT-imaging.
Generate written and oral presentations of technical updates for presentation at internal meetings for key stakeholders and clients.
Collaborate with the manager of the Multi-Scale Imaging Facility on the development of grant proposals and business plans.
Qualifications:
Master degree in life sciences, bioinformatics, computer science, engineering or a connex specialty
Minimum 3 years of experience in CT-scanning, image analysis and programming
Experience with ImageJ /FIJI and Matlab software packages
Experience in segmentation is a requirement.
Knowledge of programming in Phython and/or R, Matlab
Experience in fluorescence microscopy, colocalization, CT-scanning is an asset
Start date Feb.2025. Contract of 2 years, renewable upon the availability of funding.
