Position Summary:
• Coordinate C2C research activities with participating communities, and Community Research Assistants (CRAs) in French speaking community(ies). 
• Coordinate special research meetings with partners  (C2C annual meeting, NEIHR annual meeting, regular PAC (C2C partners) meetings, NEIHR retreat)
• Assist in the administration of ethical requirements at the community and university levels.
• Ensure accurate translation of research-related documentation (Ines)
• Coordinate communication and knowledge translation with French-speaking communities.
• Participate in Community Mobilization Training research team meetings. 
• Participate in leading Community-to-community training program activities for French-speaking communities and partners.
• Contribute to research dissemination activities including reports, scientific articles, presentations, webinar and other relevant formats.
• Contribute and participate in data collection (using various quantitative and qualitative methods).
• Contribute to the analysis and interpretation of research findings according to the planned or other suggested methods.
• Participate in the development of new methods for analysis or research.
• Participate in the writing of grant applications, and any other related work to research projects.
• Leads coordination of NEIHR Research Circle meetings.
• Other tasks (Annual reporting, assisting with social media, as discussed and delegated by the supervisor

Qualifications:
• Master of Science in a health-related field. 
• Minimum one year of experience in conducting research projects.
• Bilingual English/French required to coordinate research with French speaking communities and partners.
• Ability and experience working with Indigenous communities on research activities.
• Translation of research documents from English to French for the Mobilizing resilience through community-to-community (C2C) exchange: Seven Generations thinking for wellness and diabetes project.
• Ability to liaise with research contact between the community of Manawan and the C2C research team.
• Knowledge on how to conduct literature searches.
• Experience in data collection and data analysis (Qualitative and/or Quantitative).
• Experience in writing reports, scientific publications and grant applications.
• Organize and structure, ability to manage priorities in a complex environment.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in working with software (such as reference management software, qualitative and quantitative data analysis software).
• Proficiency in Micosoft Office Series Software.
• Be self-motivated and have demonstrated ability to work on different projects concurrent and successful deadlines.
• Have excellent communication and writing skills in English and French.
• Ability to work in a fast-changing environment and to learn new tools and applications quickly and independently
