Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Assistant for the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS).

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Provides basic level laboratory and technical support duties involving the application of standard scientific research methods and techniques. These standard scientific methods and techniques include mouse genetics, rodent histology, and behavior (under the supervision of Dr. Bohic). The other standard method and technique include aiding in the analysis of human participant data (under the supervision of Dr. Salamone over zoom). This position may perform other technical support duties in disciplines such as information technology. Note: the work with our collaborators in Sweden will be done over zoom (remote), but it might include being on zoom at times that align with the time difference in Sweden. Position Status Part Time Hours Per Week 19.5 Daily Work Shift Rotating Work Arrangement Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date.
