The research program for plant disease on lowbush blueberries seeks applicants for a full-time, soft-money funded Research Assistant position to conduct and support lowbush blueberry research in the lab and in the field. Required Qualifications: + Typically has the education associated with a B.S. or B.A. degree in a related area of science. + Ability to travel, normally requiring a driver’s license. + Ability to frequently lift 30 pounds and carry up to 200 feet. + Experience working on field studies. Ability to collect research samples in appropriate field conditions under sometimes adverse weather conditions. + Knowledge of and ability to apply experimental and registered pesticides.
