Research Assistant
We are seeking a **_Research Assistant_** . The Baltimore food Environment for Adolescent (B’EAt) study aims to understand perceptions around food environment near schools among high school students in Baltimore City. The ongoing study plans to recruit and interview up to 30 students. **Specific Duties & Responsibilities** + The Research Assistant will assist the Baltimore food Environment for Adolescent (B’EAt) study to examine the role of food environment near schools in adolescent health. _The Research Assistant responsibilities include but not limited to,_ + Interviewee recruitment. + Interview project management. + Transcript preparation. + Data management. + Interview adolescents. + Interview data analysis. + Co-authoring papers. + Human Subjects Training. + IRB amendment process. + The work hours vary from week to week but on average, it will be 3-5 hours each week. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in related discipline. + Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. **Preferred Qualifications** + Master’s Degree in nutrition. + Prior experience in recruiting interviewees, preparing and following a protocol to interview adolescents. + Prior experience in project management. + Prior exposure to IRB application _Internal and external contacts required as part of the job_ + We work with the administrative team within BSPH. + We communicate directly with the potential participants and, in case of minors, their parents.
