Job Overview: The IQVIA/Avacare Site Team is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support clinical trial activities. This individual will ensure that all trial activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong logical thinking, prioritization skills, adaptability to changing business conditions, and excellent interpersonal and team-building abilities.
Essential Functions:
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with study team members, investigators, and office staff to foster trust and respect between the clinic and the research office.Assist with the screening, recruiting, and enrollment of research subjects.Perform scheduling for patients and research participants.Collect and manage patient/research participant history data.Coordinate follow-up care and laboratory procedures.Adhere to IRB-approved protocols.Assist in the informed consent process for research subjects.Ensure the safety of research subjects.Coordinate protocol-related research procedures, study visits, and follow-up care.Comply with company and sponsor policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidelines.Schedule subject visits and procedures.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Basic knowledge of clinical trials.In-depth knowledge of departmental, protocol and study-specific operating procedures, consent forms, and study schedules.Basic knowledge of medical terminology.Basic skill in using MS Windows and Office applications such as Access, Outlook, Excel, and Word.Excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to pay close attention to detail.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.About Us: Join our team and contribute to groundbreaking clinical research that impacts patient care and advances medical knowledge. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $35,300.00 - $58,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
