Summary
JOB SUMMARY: The Center for Hope’s Education and Research Program is committed to providing education and training to both our multi-disciplinary partners as well as members of the forensic interviewing community both locally and nationally. The Research Coordinator will assist the Education and Research program in promoting, organizing, and providing support for the departments’ research endeavors. The position will be responsible for supporting and being a liaison between LifeBridge Health’s Institutional Review Board and Center for Hope Program’s research endeavors. The Research Coordinator will collaborate with partnering research universities on projects at Center for Hope on both retrospective data studies and human subjects research. The ideal candidate will have experience as a research assistant, is organized, detail oriented, and is familiar with research measurement tools and platforms such as SPSS.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1-3 years of experience, experience in social science research preferred Bachelors degree within 6 months of hire in Social Work, Human Services, Family Studies, Psychology, Criminal Justice or other similar fields. Master's degree preferred Three days per week, 9 am to 5 pm but some flexibility, in office with occasional evening hours Part time benefits (PTO, medical and dental etc) Free parking!!Responsibilities & Duties:
Assist the Manager of Education and Research with creating and maintaining protocol for on-site research projects on forensic interviewing and related topics Administer human subjects research surveys with children Train and provide ongoing direction to forensic interview staff and interns administrating debrief survey’s and other research with children Manage forensic interview staff and interns by coordinating daily operations related to on-site research projects Monitor and securely maintain video recordings, transcript and coding data related to on-site research projects. Assure data is organized, regularly backed-up and shared with project team members Assist the Education and Research in writing and compiling data collection for publication of internal on-site Prepare and/or re-order materials and supplies, as needed for the on-site research lab Collect data necessary to report project activity monthly Generate monthly programmatic reports Perform other duties as directed
Education & Skills
Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree preferred or related experience Previous experience with administering research projects, data collection and analysis Proficient with MS-Office Suite products, particularly PowerPoint, Word & Excel. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees, and solid written and oral communication skills Ability to exercise judgment to shift priorities, organize multiple tasks simultaneously, and work with minimal direction.
