The Klingenstein Center is seeking a full-time Research Assistant to provide research and administrative support for the Center and all its programs.
Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Research Assistant will work under the supervision of the Executive Director, conducting research-specific scholarly projects relevant to the center’s interests and assisting with a variety of non-administrative tasks. This position is a full-time position.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning:
Draft and revise literature reviews Participate in the design of existing and future research projects Draft and revise research-related documents, including data collection protocols Project Management Contribute to the drafting and preparation of Institutional Review Board (IRB) materials Maintain records related to the progress of research activities Contribute to and provide support for research team meetings (e.g., take notes, ask questions) Respond to internal and external requests for information, under the supervision of senior project staff Perform project-related tasks such as filing, copying, scheduling, document dissemination, and shipping Data Management and Analysis Contribute to data analysis activities Use data analysis software or data organizing techniques to manage and analyze data, under the supervision of senior project staff Participate in developing project protocols/structures for data documentation, organization, and security Participate in drafting and revising analytic memos and reports Contribute to study reports Dissemination and Public Relations Contribute to conference presentations by designing graphs, charts, and other data visualizations using Canva and other tools Represent Klingenstein Center at meetings, events, and conferences under the supervision of senior project staffKlingenstein Center Services
Constituent Data Management Update Salesforce data for Klingenstein alumni Canvas Instructional Design and Administrative Support for Programs Manage and maintain canvas pages for the Center’s programs Coordinating with Program Associates/Admission Director/Communications Director to assist with student enrollment effortCenter Communication Efforts
Work directly with the Executive Director to market the Center’s activities on social media platforms. Collaborate with the Executive Director and Associate Director for Communications to maintain and, where necessary, coordinate with TC Generation to set up social media accounts (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, etc.) Work with leadership staff to curate and publish engaging content that resonates with our target audiences (alumni, prospective students, partnering education organizations) Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. Stay up to date with industry trends, social media trends, tools, and applications. Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote the Center’s events and other initiatives.Communication Support Assist in the development and maintenance of the annual communication calendar in Monday.com Review and proof communications documents for the Center Create Marketing Cloud templates for email campaigns. Assist in the creation and management of email newsletters, including evaluating Marketing Cloud analytics.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a BS or MS degree in the field of Education, or a related field, and/or related experience. Must be able to handle and protect confidential and sensitive data with integrity Must be able to organize work, collect and analyze data, make calculations, prepare reports, and keep records Ability to apply sound research techniques, methodology, and logical critical analysis Ability to learn new software and research techniques as needed Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous research, including literature review, data collection, analysis, and interpretation Ability to think critically, identify research gaps, propose innovative ideas, and solve problems related to the research project Willingness to learn and apply new research techniques Must be willing to learn and contribute to ongoing research activities Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, social media platforms, and Canva Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills Strong presentation skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong computer, research, and presentation skills Ability to work independently Ability to work as part of a team Ability to complete assigned projects with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications:
Salesforce and Adobe Suite proficiency Graduate-level coursework in education leadership, international education, or program evaluation Professional experience in an international educational context Must be able to organize work, collect and analyze data, make calculations, prepare reports, and keep records Ability to apply sound research techniques, methodology, and logical critical analysis Ability to learn new software and research techniques as needed Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets using statistical software or programming languages.Salary Range:
$52,000-$58,000
