Job Description: The Russ College of Engineering and Technology’s Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at Ohio University invites applications for the part-time, temporary position of Research Assistant. The Research Assistant will be working on the following tasks: (a) perform classical molecular simulations of metal-water interfaces, (b) write technical reports of the results, © make technical presentations. Responsibilities include: 1. Prepare simulation system and perform molecular dynamics simulations to study the adsorption of surfactants at metal-water interfaces with polarization effects of metal incorporated; 2. Discuss results with the principal investigator (PI); 3. Make presentations of the results for the research group; 4. Train new graduate students. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field by the start date of appointment.
