Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in basic science or equivalent and 2 years of related experience or Master's degree in basic science or equivalent and no experience required.
Job Description:
Performs a variety of routine and non-routine research assignments and experiments and assists with lab maintenance responsibilities.
Job Duties:
Plans, coordinates, and conducts research experiments following general technical procedures. Makes modification to research procedures, as determined by mentors. Contributes to scientific analysis and interpretation of projects. Maintains records of experiments performed and data collected. Performs varying standardized laboratory assignments and experiments including cloning and production of monoclonal antibodies, in vitro binding and neutralization assays, in vivo protection studies in rodent models of infection. Performs job-related duties, as required. Maintains lab inventory of supplies.Preferred Qualifications:
Molecular biology techniques (cloning, serological assays, flow cytomery). Cell culture experience. Animal work experience will be an asset.Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
