Through this community of healers, scientists, and scholars, Rutgers is equipped as never before to transform lives. Posting Summary Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Associate III for the Anesthesiology Department within New Jersey Medical School.

Among the key duties of the position are the following: Participate in experimental design; carries out experiments specific to mu opioid receptor mechanisms. Carry out various technical and research operations relating to electrophysiology, patch clamp techniques. Compile and present statistical data with appropriate conclusions and recommendations. Instruct students, fellows and technicians in various procedures, to carry out assignments in the laboratory. Assist in the preparation of grant applications for the funding of research activities. Understand and adhere to Rutgers’ compliance standards as they appear in RBHS’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Keep abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Rutgers’ regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
