Research Associate in Chemistry

The Landers Research Group is known for development of integrated microfluidic systems, and the instrumentation needed to support microfluidic assay execution, with sample-to-result capabilities for point-of-need testing.  The funded project leverages the microfluidic toolkit of the Landers Lab to define an automated, fully-integrated microfluidic system for in-office testing of patients for drug compatibility based of their cytochrome P450 genome signature.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have a PhD in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field.  Experience in electronic components subsystems is required and some experience in microfluidics and microfluidic architectural design (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) is desired.  Preferred qualifications include experience with software coding (Python, C++), modeling fluid dynamics with COMSOL Multiphysics or other CFD programs.
