Research Associate (IVMF)

The D'Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) research team is seeking an experienced research associate to lead and work collaboratively on a variety of team-based social science and public policy research projects, focused on the military family. The Institute's research portfolio includes data collection from various sources, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the experiences and challenges encountered by military families and veterans as well. This work provides crucial insights and data to inform national leaders, local communities, and philanthropic stakeholders. In addition to this effort, the research associate will work alongside colleagues, leadership, and development teams to build a forward-looking research agenda on the impacts of military family lifestyle on post-military life, among other factors impacting the post service lives of veterans and their families. The research associate may also collaborate with federal and state government agencies and private sector organizations, engaging in research translation and application.
This position may be filled on a fully remote basis if the identified candidate is not currently located in Syracuse, NY (within 50 miles). Not all geographical areas within the United States are eligible.
