The Opportunity
Our Diagnostics business currently has an opportunity for the role of Research/Clinical Data Management Specialist. This position works out of our Lake Forest, IL location in the Core Diagnostics Division. The Research/Clinical Data Management Specialist is responsible for the definition, configuration, and development of core laboratory/hospital software solutions for designs of intermediate and moderate complexity. This role involves translating requirements into new solutions, building and maintaining TPM product and partner relationships, performing investigations, and leading and mentoring junior team members.
What You’ll Work On
Definition, Configuration, and Development: Responsible for the definition, configuration, and development of core laboratory/hospital software solutions for designs of intermediate and moderate complexity.Translates Requirements into New Solutions: Develops use cases, requirements, and specifications for new and existing system designs.Build and Maintain TPM Product and Partner Relationships: Evaluates and defines product changes with TPM to resolve customer issues and provide input on new functionality for moderate complexity projects. Leads technical discussions with TPM and builds and maintains relationships.Performs Investigations: Participates in investigations to determine root cause for moderately complex issues that may cross multiple products. Arrives at timely conclusions and maintains high customer service by assisting support with customer issue resolution and coordinating inclusion of customer issue resolution with product/project patches and releases.Solution Configuration and Documentation: Performs software installation and configuration, tests laboratory workflows, creates and maintains business rules, verifies system and instrument interfaces, and generates input to service personnel.Obtains Customer Feedback: Provides and gathers inputs from internal and external sources and from members of the project’s cross-functional team to achieve customer needs.Risk Mitigation: Reviews technical risks and takes appropriate action. Reviews and provides input into risk management documentation, including FMEA and risk analyses.Maintains Adherence to Quality System: Follows functional area policies and procedures.Leads and Mentors: Trains and mentors associate systems analysts in tools and processes.General Direction: Receives general direction and completes moderately complex assignments.Planning and Goal Achievement: Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Project Implementation: Implements activities for projects and may participate in the hiring process for technical resources, providing feedback to the hiring manager.Team Collaboration: Provides input on project activities and may assign activities to other team members.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Qualifications

The base pay for this position is $66,700.00 – $133,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
