Research Concierge
Overview Support for this mission is derived from the Office of Research Operations (ORO) that provides services to investigators and their staff throughout all stages of the research life cycle. To streamline interactions between the services of ORO and its customers, we are seeking to hire a dynamic research concierge with outstanding people skills to act as the virtual “front door” of the ORO. Responsibilities * Provide a single point of contact for investigators and research staff at Dartmouth Health * Display a deep understanding of the programs and services of the Office of Research Operations * Advise investigators on how to access those programs, which components are mandatory versus suggested, and the order in which various tasks and regulatory steps are best conducted for maximum efficiency * Maintain regular communication with ORO leadership, including Directors, to stay abreast of developments in research processes and workflows * Attend regular meetings of ORO leadership as directed * Develop close working relationships with other administrative offices at D-H that are essential for the efficient conduct of research e.g., Purchasing, Information Technology, General Counsel, Human Resources * Develop close working relationships with personnel involved in research infrastructure at Dartmouth College, including the Office of Sponsored Projects and the Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects * Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications * College or University degree in a related field * Knowledge and skills developed through 2-5 years’ work experience in a related job discipline * Outstanding interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation * Experience in a variety of research modalities e.g., observational, interventional, FDA-regulated, investigator-initiated, community-based, NIH or pharmaceutical industry funded * Familiarity with study start- ups, regulatory approvals, finance, data management, study conduct, quality * Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) certification preferred Required Licensure/Certifications - None * Area of Interest:Professional/Management * FTE/Hours per pay period:1.00 - 1.00 - 40 hrs/week * Shift:Day * Job ID:30403 Dartmouth Health is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
