Responsibilities:
Performs screening of potential research subjects, verifying eligibility criteria Ensures documentation of patient’s progress throughout the research process Conducts patient research visits in coordination with physicians Adheres to protocol schedule and facilitates inter-departmental scheduling for procedures/tests Extracts data from patient charts to record and submit information to study sponsors, both electronically and written submissions Ensures compliance with protocol guidelines Working knowledge and adherence to the Code of Federal Regulations and Good Clinical Practices Reports Adverse Events to appropriate agencies and Institutional Review Board Works with monitors and sponsors to assure accuracy of subject charts and data collection Resolves data queries Assists with preparation for National Cancer Institute and FDA audits Participates in internal audits and quality compliance as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulation and Good Clinical Practices Coordinates the collection and shipment of ancillary specimens Prepare study progress reports as neededRequirements
Related Field Certification / Research Professional preferred Bachelors Degree in the respective research related field. Minimum 2 years of medical / research background. Oncology background desired Excellent written and oral communication skills Computer skills required, proficient with all Microsoft applicationsBenefits
