This position supports the Oregon Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (OADRC), an NIH/NIA-funded Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) and part of the Layton Aging & Alzheimer's Disease Center. Layton Center investigative teams contribute to national and international efforts to understand aging and research promising treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.
Function/Duties of PositionThis position is responsible for the development, management and integration of research data systems, which advance research conducted at the Layton Aging & Alzheimer’s Disease Center, ORCATECH, and collaborating institutions. This role is focused on management of the OADRC’s contributions to the National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center (NACC) database as well as other affiliated studies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: development, implementation, and maintenance of electronic data capture (EDC) tools and processes for the center; creation of front-end dashboards and tracking; development of policies and requirements to ensure protocol and analytic integrity/quality; create validation methods/tools/strategies; process incoming and outgoing data requests and analytics; and provide consultation on electronic data capture for upcoming studies to ensure best practices are followed. Assist with study content creation and development.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a working knowledge of scientific methods. The role requires innate motivation and independent performance of complex and detail-oriented duties while working closely with investigators and other study staff.

Work hours are flexible but should largely overlap with standard 8am-5pm work day.Work schedule may vary depending on job/study/center requirements.Occasional evenings or weekends, local, national or international travel may be needed.Work locations: remote and/or at OHSU offices including HRC and/or MNP.Travel between meeting locations including using the Portland Aerial Tram.May have regular exposure to noise and interruptions.Must be able to sit at a computer without a break for 60 minutes.Use of videoconferencing equipment (headphones/camera).
