The Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology is seeking a highly motivated Cyclotron Operator – Research Development Engineer to join our dynamic laboratory team, playing a pivotal role in advancing cutting-edge radiopharmaceutical research. You will operate and maintain state-of-the-art cyclotrons, including a brand-new PETTrace™ 800, while supporting clinical and pre-clinical teams in their daily activities. This position involves overseeing the radiosynthesis, quality control, and packaging of clinical radiotracers, managing the chemical aspects of radioactive compound production, and assisting in the development of innovative, radioactively-labeled compounds. With a focus on compliance with radiation safety, laboratory safety, and quality control protocols, you’ll work in a cGMP-compliant environment, ensuring that all processes align with the highest industry standards.
