Responsibilities

Position Overview 

Join our 10-week program in the Research and Development Department, collaborating with a team to engage yourself in the department's initiatives. Engage in diverse projects like process & product development, process capability & optimization, and production startup across BEF's product range. Apply your food processing and food science knowledge to gain valuable experience within the food industry. Work within a cross-functional team environment, contributing to impactful projects that enhance Bob Evans' business and delight consumers. Accountabilities

Collaborate closely with business leaders to drive technical and scientific advancements, leveraging both internal and external resources.  Integrate business requirements into technical decision-making processes.  Engage in hands-on work across laboratory and manufacturing environments.  Perform nutritional calculations to support product graphics development. Analyze and assess processing design and data to support project objectives.  Effectively manage and prioritize multiple assignments and tasks concurrently.  Travel to various BEF plants/locations to support project needs.  
Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with company peers and Post Holdings partners.  Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external.   Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction. Must be a self-motivated self-starter.  Must possess the ability to always maintain external and internal confidentiality.
