Job Description Purpose: The Research Engineer II will execute a project on COVID-19 induced thrombosis using vein-chips. Responsibilities: + Assist with engineering of a medical device for preclinical monitoring of vascular health over a long period of time. + Execute project on COVID-19 induced thrombosis using vein-chips. + Perform experiments, data analysis, and manuscript preparation for publication. + Manage laboratory tasks and mentor undergraduate student scholars with PI. + Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Two years of related experience.
