Function: Performs various duties in the Bank's Operations- Research Exceptions area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Document Management Responsibilities would assume direct responsibility for one of the following:
Stop Payments
Verifies all stop payments added to the system,
Reviews required documentation for accuracy.
Identifies items to be returned.
Decedent Reporting Responsibilities include the following:
Reviews decedent accounts when notified of the death of a customer (by branch staff, obituaries, OnBase Report- ACH Death Notification, PA State Revenue report, etc.) to determine the types of deposits made to the account (federal benefits, pension payments, etc.). Determines what items need to be returned and initiates this process by collaborating with member of the Returns department.
Adds the appropriate deceased codes and restriction codes to deposit accounts.
Prepares all decedent account documentation to be imaged into OnBase.
Reports applicable accounts to the appropriate State Inheritance Tax Bureau according to state law.
Will contribute weekly to at least one the following:
Money Garnishments
Writs
Levy
Domestic Relations Court Orders are acted upon according to regulation and PA law.
Reconcile general ledgers to include the following:
GL 11-25010 Non-Post
GL 11-14612 Return Items Clearing
GL 11-25090 Safe Deposit Box
GL 147-79340 Proof Difference
Verify scanned work in Optima.
Stop Payment Maintenance Report
Responds to attorney inquiries on accounts owned by deceased customers.
All personnel will:
Maintain a good working relationship with bank employees. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.
Compile data for monthly productivity reporting.
Perform additional duties as required.
Assist various Deposit Operations Supervisors with implementing annual Business Plan projects as needed.
Physical Demands
Operates a keypad device, operates office equipment. Possess the ability to focus visually at a close distance of 18”-20” for a period of up to 75% of the business day. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, stand, walk, and reach with hand and/or arm throughout the business day. Education
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent basic academic education.
Experience
Requires up to one-year general experience.

Salary Range:
$15.00 - $21.15
