Responsibilities

LAB:

The soft matter and microfluidics group at Mayo Clinic led by Drs. Connie Chang and James Wilking has multiple openings (4-6) for research fellows in the Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering. 

PROJECT:

Research fellows will work together on a fast-paced, highly interdisciplinary, multi-institution project using multiplexed drop-based microfluidics for near real-time pathogen detection from air samples. Funding expected for 3 years. 

YOU:

Ph.D. (Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Sciences)Experience with drop-based microfluidics, microfabrication, 3D printing, optical microscopy, molecular biology, or diagnostics preferred.Ambitious, curious, open-minded, and collaborative individual.Strong written and oral communication skills.
