Reporting to the Director for Research Impact & Intelligence, the Research Impact & Intelligence Project Coordinator will work in a team-based environment to perform research on several key research and collaboration initiatives across campus. Daily activities can span the following:

-Curating Virginia Tech faculty curriculum vitae data in the Symplectics Elements system
-Reconciling and merging Virginia Tech faculty Scopus profiles to facilitate more efficient and scalable methods of research assessment
-Searching, reading, compiling and cleaning data, analyzing, synthesizing, and effectively communicating findings, both verbally and digitally
-Updating Libguides, developing Powerpoint slides for senior level administrators and enhancing or designing documents for various types of internal and external publication, adhering to university branding standards
-Researching and benchmarking academic programs, facilities, and initiatives
