Infrastructure Engineer position in Laurel, Maryland
Lead critical projects and manage cutting-edge technologies

Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze system requirements and working with the team to set target dates and milestones
Research and implement system management and deployment solutions
Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters
Set up, maintain, and improve clusters for various projects
Work with tools such as Docker, Rancher, Slurm, and Puppet
Secure systems to meet hardening and compliance requirements
Optimize networking for clusters
Work with the team and establish operational plans for technical area
Develop and implement innovative products, processes, standards, or operational plans
Work to continually improve existing processes and practices
Qualifications:
Required:
11+ years of experience as a Infrastructure Engineer and System Administrator in Linux environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience in cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies
Experience in system hardening
Ability to communicate with customers and setting expectations
Experience in improving processes and systems using conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation
Skill in conducting extensive investigations to understand root causes of problems
Ability to solve a wide range of difficult and unique issues across functions and/or businesses
Desired:
RHCSA certification
Security+ certification
Demonstrated technical innovation in supporting business objectives and mission
Ability to influence others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches

The proposed salary range for this position is:
