Research Intern - Algorithms Group: Differentially Private Synthetic Data

Research Internships at Microsoft provide a dynamic environment for research careers with a network of world-class research labs led by globally-recognized scientists and engineers, who pursue innovation in a range of scientific and technical disciplines to help solve complex challenges in diverse fields, including computing, healthcare, economics, and the environment.

The Algorithms group at MSR Redmond is looking for Research Interns to work on differentially private synthetic data generation, extending the works:

Differentially Private Synthetic Data via Foundation Model APIs 1: Images - Microsoft Research

Differentially Private Synthetic Data via Foundation Model APIs 2: Text - Microsoft Research.

Our Researchers and Research Interns have been conducting influential research published in top-tier venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR. For more details on our research group and projects, please see: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/research/group/algorithms-redmond/

For fullest consideration please apply by Dec 1st, 2024. We are aiming to start the project in the Spring semester.
