Research Internships at Microsoft provide a dynamic environment for research careers with a network of world-class research labs led by globally-recognized scientists and engineers, who pursue innovation in a range of scientific and technical disciplines to help solve complex challenges in diverse fields, including computing, healthcare, economics, and the environment.
The Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI) project in Microsoft Research aims to enable BCI for the general population. This means non-intrusive methods; fewer number of electrodes and custom-designed signal picking devices. We go towards interactive BCI, which means response times within seconds and using electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. In the BCI project are involved researcher from several research groups in Microsoft Research, you can find more about the project at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/research/project/brain-computer-interfaces/.
