Position Description:
The Clinical Research Nurse assists in the recruitment, compliance, and follow-up of patients eligible for or registered to a clinical trial. The Research Nurse provides specialized nursing care that ensures exceptional, ethical, safe care yielding high-quality data and provides clinical trial support to ensure patients are offered appropriate clinical trials following Good Clinical Practice standards. Clinical Research Nurses assess, monitor, evaluate, and document patient compliance and response to protocol treatment and provides leadership to other members of the clinical team by articulating expected standards of care as direction by the clinical trial. The Clinical Research Nurse participates in process improvement activities to ensure patient safety and demonstrates professionalism and a commitment to improving the work environment through participation in meetings, timely and effective communication, and an embracement of cultural diversity.

Current Registered Nurse license, in good standing with State of Michigan Board of Nursing required.3 years recent clinical experience required.Clinical research experience in industry and/or NIH sponsored trials highly preferred.The Benefits of Working at Munson:
