Research Program Coordinator
The Department of Neurology is seeking a **_Research Program Coordinator_** to coordinate day to day tasks related to designing, implementing and completing clinical research projects. This position will coordinate and assist with the day-to-day clinical research operations. The coordinator will ensure that research protocols are carried out correctly, including all documentation, administrative, and regulatory issues. Works with others in a research team environment and will be responsible for recruiting and screening potential candidates for studies. **Specific Duties and Responsibilities** + Assist the Principal Investigator in aspects of clinical research. + Assist in starting and conducting a clinical trial. + Responsible for data management for seizure device and drug trials. + Assist the Principal Investigator in developing and implementing study operating procedures related to recruitment, retention, and study visits while adhering to quality control procedures + Responsible for the oversight of data collection, database entry and accurate record keeping of all study related information. + Coordinate activities related to the research projects according to established departmental and IRB processes, including new and renewal submissions. + Coordinate invoicing and payments related to the research studies, vendor set up and subject reimbursements. + Assist the Principal Investigator in identifying and resolving compliance issues. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in related discipline. + Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
