*The Clinical Transformational Research Informatics Center (CTRIC)*at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB)has an exciting opportunity for a Research Project Coordinator. Responsibilities include coordinating day-to-day operations of research studies for this project *CTRIC *is a service center at the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Medicine (UMSOM). All employees are expected to work primarily physically within the State of Maryland*. *Essential Functions:* * Responsible for day-to-day oversight and management of all aspects of the research project according to the protocol specifications * Responsible for database management which may include database design with PI directives, developing survey in REDCap software * Prepare protocol related reports using Nvivo software with transcription code * Recruits, screens, and coordinate qualitative interviews and or administration of qualitative interviews * Serves a point of contact for study participants, research personnel and support staff * Maintain study timelines * Escalating issues to PI in a timely manner * Assist PI with IRB regulatory compliance including the preparation, submission, and maintenance of regulatory documents * Performs other related duties as assigned *EDUCATION:*Bachelor's degree in public health, psychology , sociology or another scientific discipline appropriate to position required. *EXPERIENCE:*Prior experience in research preferred *OTHER:*May consider a combination of directly related experience and education. Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 undergraduate college credits being equivalent to one year of related experience.
