Research Project Coordinator (School of Nursing RISE Center - Galveston) Onsite **Galveston, Texas, United States** **New** Research Academic & Clinical UTMB Health Requisition # 2501198 **Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 1 year of experience. **Preferred:** Bilingual Spanish **Job Description:** Serves as the principal project coordinator for facilitation of research projects, administration and the IRB as appropriate. **Job Duties:** + Coordinates multi-disciplinary, multi-investigator research projects by collecting research data, developing project-related documents and maintaining project status reports and tracking systems. + Participates in project team activities such as team meetings, communications, report generation, etc. Complies and assist with enforcement with all guidelines and project specific policies and procedures established by the project administration, institution, and sponsor. + Uses logic models and tracking metrics to ensure data quality. + Generates and processes hard copy, email, and web-based surveys such as QuestionPro, Qualtrics, REDCap, SurveyMonkey, MS Forms, and analyzes data using software (NVivo, Atlas.ti, Excel, SAS, SPSS, R for example). + Creates and manages databases and spreadsheets for research study. + Completes and maintains IRB documentation related to research studies to ensure adequate protection of human subjects. + Assists with creation of posters, presentations, articles, and must be able to represent to the project team when necessary. + Tracks resource utilization including management, budgets and expenditures, and may make recommendations to the team regarding efficient resource utilization. + Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure. **MARGINAL OR PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS:** • Performs related duties as required **EQUIPMENT:** Standard office equipment plus high-speed surveillance scanners. **WORKING ENVIRONMENT/LOCATION OF POSITION:** This position is housed in the Sealy Center for Environmental Health and Medicine.
