Posting Number NONAC3519 Job Title Research Project Manager Position Title Research Project Manager Position Type Non-Faculty Number of vacancies 1 Salary Commensurate with experience Department Family Medicine Position Summary AUCC Student Health and Wellness Center The Research Project Manager oversees and advises on research project operations, project deliverables and timelines, data management and analysis plans, partners with the Principal Investigator and provides guidance oversight of research assistant and peer educators/navigators. The ideal candidate will use advanced knowledge of research methodology and techniques to assist in site identification, recruitment projections, enrollment monitoring, data progress and strategy, data tracking and overall reporting of project. Minimum Qualifications Education: + Bachelor’s Degree is required from a regionally accredited institution. Experience: + Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in a leadership position managing projects. + Experience managing, designing, implementing, and evaluating research projects. + Demonstrates exceptional communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders. + Proven ability to write technical reports, program documents and deliver presentations. + Strong organizational skills; ability to operate in this role autonomously; ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. + Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy, time management skills, and follow-through. · + Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. + Effective problem-solving skills; must demonstrate excellent analytical skills, sound judgment and good decision-making. Preferred Qualifications + Five (5) years of related experience in leadership and managing research projects. + Prior experience with clinical research and/or biostatics and/or data management software ( SAS , SPSS ) also beneficial. Job Duties Description of Job Duty + Work closely with the Principal Investigator on development and oversight of research including project start-up and initiation; protocol adherence; development of project materials; maintenance of data integrity; and project close-out. + Design project work-flow processes and project infrastructure; delegate, prioritize, and review research tasks to achieve project goals and improve results. + Oversee data collection, data management and reporting method and present findings to research Principal Investigator. + Complete modifications to the IRB as needed and directed by principal investigator + Coordinates and conducts meetings and presentations. + Assists in the preparation of tables and graphs for publication and presentation. + Maintain up-to-date records that enable effective monitoring, control and evaluation of project. + Interface with external collaborators to direct and facilitate multi-site and collaborative research. + Assist with the preparation and dissemination of research findings, including presentations and publication submissions . + Supports development and maintenance of internal and external clinical study materials, processes, plans and committees. + Prepare regular reports and project updates for Principal Investigator. + Provide guidance and oversight of compliance with government regulations and policies on research; keep abreast of compliance regulations and changes. + May supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management.
