Shift Weekday Daytime, i.e. Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Job Summary The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) is seeking a highly motivated, professional Research Regulatory Specialist I to contribute to the variety of perspectives and excellence of our department and to assist the faculty and staff of our fast-paced research center. The CCTS supports campus research professionals to ensure they are able to meet their research goals and ultimately improve the health of our communities and populations. Since its inception in 2006, the CCTS has invested millions of dollars into research funding and trainee support at the University of Kentucky through its commitment to funding innovative, early stage translational research. The CCTS’s vision is to catalyze clinical and translational discoveries through an integrated and transformative research environment targeting improved health, with emphasis on underserved populations in Kentucky. In support of that vision, the Research Regulatory Specialist I role will serve as a team member of the Regulatory Knowledge and Support Core. Responsibilities include scientific concepts, research design and study design; ethical and participant safety considerations; investigational products development and regulation; clinical study operations; study and site management; and data management and informatics.

Successful candidates will possess effective oral and written communication. Organization, attention to detail, time management, and ability to multi-task. Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Work independently as appropriate and collaborate with colleagues.
