Research Scientist, In Vitro Cell Culture - Contract - Wilmington, DE
Proclinical is currently working alongside a pharmaceutical company seeking a Research Scientist specializing in In Vitro Cell Culture to join their team.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine cell culture procedures, collaborating on large-scale cell preparation, and performing various DMPK/ADME assays, with a requirement for timely and accurate data entry into an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN).
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline with over 4 years of experience or an M.S. with over 2 years (industry experience preferred).Strong preference given to candidates with a demonstrated ability to work using aseptic cell culture techniques.Independently manage tasks and assignments as directed by immediate supervisor.High-throughput screening and LC/MS/MS experience preferred.Attention to detail, and effective oral and written communication skills.
The Research Scientist, In Vitro Cell Culture's responsibilities will be:
Conduct routine cell culture procedures, including cell line maintenance, expansion, and cryopreservation.Perform routine laboratory tasks, including reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, and supply management.Collaborate with team members on large-scale cell preparation for high throughput screening.Perform DMPK/ADME assays including Caco-2 permeability, PAMPA, protein binding, drug transporter assays, etc.With appropriate supervision, analyze data, record data, prepare summary documents, and report data as needed.Timely, accurate and compliant entry of experimental data into Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN)
