Description : The Research in Advanced Integrated Circuits and Systems (RAISE) Lab in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Research Scientist. The RAISE lab focuses on developing scalable and spectrally agile software-defined radios with innovative RFIC-based solutions for the upper-mid band (FR3) spectrum. This project aims to enable the use of these bands across cellular and satellite systems, contributing to the commercialization of the FR3 band. This position is for 12 months, with an opportunity to renew subject to availability of funds.

Expectations
Candidates will engage in original interdisciplinary research. They will be expected to take on a leadership roles in ongoing projects, and disseminate research (publications, conferences). They will engage in other research activities of interest within the scope of NYU's RAISE Lab. The candidate will also work closely with Prof. Hamed Rahmani on broadband and energy-efficient RF Front-end building blocks as well as custom Integrated circuits and systems for emerging sensing and connectivity paradigms.
Salary Requirements
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this full-time position is $90,000 depending on the candidate’s experience and qualification. This position is for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal, subject to availability of funds.
Qualifications
+ Masters or PhD (preferred) in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field;
+ Excellent communication skills;
+ Demonstrated program coordination experience, ideally in an academic setting.
