As a Research Scientist in Antibody Generation, you'll be at the forefront of antibody engineering projects, driving innovation and excellence in therapeutic antibody development.

How you’ll spend your day• Innovate: Implement and apply molecular biology and biochemistry techniques to engineer and characterize antibodies.
• Analyse: Utilize laboratory-based and computational tools, along with high-throughput screening technologies.
• Design: Modify antibody peptide sequences to enhance binding and developability attributes while avoiding post-translational and immunogenicity liabilities.
• Characterize: Express, purify, and characterize antibodies to ensure their efficacy and safety.
• Develop: Research, implement, and develop new tools and methods to constantly improve workflows.
• Support: Assist in antibody generation workflows, such as immunization, isolation of B cells, and next-generation sequencing.
• Manage: Oversee resources, including reagent supply chains and Contract Research Organizations, to deliver projects on time.
• Communicate: Simplify large datasets for teammates and stakeholders, contributing to collaborative and data-driven decisions.
• Mentor: Support and mentor staff across the site within your area of expertise.
• Collaborate: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet site-wide KPIs.
• Lead: Foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, rigor, and teamwork.
• Report: Summarize data in various formats and provide updates to senior management.
• Engage: Participate in corporate citizenship activities, such as committee service and stakeholder presentations.
• Qualifications: PhD in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or equivalent experience
• Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in protein engineering, molecular biology, and antibody generation
• Experience: Highly desirable experience with antibody display technologies and antibody developability assessment, including immunogenicity prediction of biologics
• Skills: Good knowledge of protein production, purification, and characterization methods. Experience with statistical analyses of quantitative data. Excellent record-keeping and report writing skills
• Attributes: An agile, enthusiastic mindset, ready to embrace new challenges in antibody research and development. Strong capacity for working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Enthusiasm to learn the science of drug development
