**Job Description** **Job Description:** This position initiates and conducts independent research to advance scientific knowledge, improve patient outcomes, and help improve the health and vitality of our communities. Initiates and conducts investigator-initiated research projects as Principal or Co-Investigator with funding support at the local, regional, or national level. Responsible for conducting ethical and compliant research endeavors, fiscally responsible management of research funding, and leadership of research teams.
