We have a research sicientist opportunity open on a team dedicated to the development and scale up of oral care products on our Oral Care Implementation and Support Team.. Lead the charge in creating mouthwash formulas, spearhead experimental designs, and support a variety of product developments and implementations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative solutions and new innovations to life. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead the formulation and implementation of new mouthwash products and support related developments in toothpaste and other forms. + Act as the R&D liaison for commercial teams, providing expertise in oral care innovation. + Conduct experimental designs to identify launch formulations and optimize production processes. + Manage the preparation and execution of lab, pilot, and plant-scale batches for stability testing and customer sampling. + Oversee stability studies and work with analytical and micro support groups to analyze and follow up on results. + Ensure all necessary R&D and GMP/GLP documentation is prepared and maintained in compliance with FDA/ICH guidelines. + Stay informed on industry trends and competitor developments to maintain a competitive edge. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field. + 4+ years’ experience in consumer products development and implementation, with expertise in scaling formulations from lab to manufacturing. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Strong ingredient chemistry knowledge and understanding of formulation interactions. + Proficiency in project management, multitasking, and using software tools like MS Office and SAP. + Familiarity with oral care formulation equipment, stability studies, and North American regulatory environments. + Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated, team-oriented work ethic. **Compensation and Benefits** Salary Range $91,000.00 - $115,000.00 USD Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles. Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year).
