The UVA School of Education and Human Development is seeking Research Specialists to support and conduct research across several education specialties, including special education, curriculum and instruction, reading and literacy, early childhood education, gifted education, and instructional technology.
The Research Specialist (Wage) assists with either on or off-site activities of various research areas. Incumbents assist with videotaping observations, video clipping and uploading, collecting, analyzing and upload data using project guidelines, writing manuscripts or presentations, develop lesson plans and posting content online.
Availability to work either on grounds or remotely preferred. Ability to use and troubleshoot with technology, including laptops and tablets, is preferred, as is knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
