This is a full-time, probationary position within the Library and Information Services Department to start August 18, 2025. **Responsibilities of the Research and Student Success Librarian:** + In collaboration with colleagues across the Library, provides overall direction for the Library’s student success initiatives and promotes ways the Library can serve as an essential partner in student success. + Cultivates strong working relationships and collaborates with units that support student success and the university’s diverse communities by serving as the Library’s primary liaison to the Center for Accessibility Resources (CAR), TRIO programs, and Multicultural, American Indian, and Retention Services (MAIR). + Provides research support to incarcerated students enrolled in Metro State’s Transformation and Reentry Through Education and Community (TREC) Program. + Develops relationships and partnerships with student organizations. + Coordinates library events and workshops for students related to student success, retention, and completion that promote Library use. + Coordinates with Library faculty and staff to design equity-informed library initiatives and collaborates with library and university colleagues involved in high-impact practices (HIP) that support student retention and completion.
