**Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):**
Bachelor’s Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Experience with research activities. Experience in operating equipment, carrying out test procedures, and using special methods for data collation and interpretation.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Advanced degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in MBBS. Medical/biomedical background.
**Brief Description of Duties:**
The focus of the Cerebrovascular Center for Research is R&D of neuro-interventional medical devices for the treatment of stroke. The lab is looking for a Research Support Specialist to primarily help with the manufacturing of vascular replicas and other simulation models via casting of varied polymers in 3D-printed molds. This includes preparation for experiments by setting up benchtop flow loops as well as assistance during the testing.
The incumbent must have willingness to work with large volumes of organic solvents and willingness to work in an angiography suite (X-Ray imaging). Training and appropriate PPE will be provided.
**Duties:**
+ Assistance with retrospective data collection, measurement and analysis of patient imaging data.
+ Assistance with preparing for and during in vivo experiments.
+ Assistance with preparing IACUC and IRB protocols.
+ Keeping the lab organized including inventory management of supplies.
+ Other duties as assigned.
