Under the direction of the Section Chief or Program Development Specialist I, the RTS-IV will conduct highly specialized and technical research for the pediatric population science, outcomes, and disparities sciences research section.
Among the key duties for this position are the following:
Participates in all aspects of research and ensures compliance with study protocols. Monitors progress of projects. Reports to the Section Chief, Program Development Specialist I, and/or Principal Investigator on project progress, problems, and the need for adjustments. Recruits, screens, consents, and enrolls participants for studies per project timelines. Ensures participant completion of study activities per protocol. Maintains study recruitment, accrual, and participation documents. Creates surveys using survey software programs as directed. Conducts focus groups, interviews, usability testing sessions, and administers surveys per study protocol. Abstracts information from medical records per protocol, maintaining confidentiality of data. Responsible for study data entry, data management, preliminary data screening, and data cleaning throughout the project. As directed, provides support in other data processing and analysis. Prepares reports containing findings, analysis, conclusion and recommendations (i.e., grants, narratives, position papers, etc.), as requested. Research activities may require flexible (i.e., evening or weekend) activities on occasion per project demands. Assists with progress reports, administrative, regulatory, and study accrual/progress updates for all assigned studies. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
